Fees

Lieutenant Richard Lichten’s fee schedule as of January 3, 2010:

An initial consultation, including the confidential discussion of the general circumstances of your case, as well as answering any questions regarding my experience and qualifications can be conducted at no charge. In order to better serve your client, I accept only a limited number of active cases.

I require a $2,500.00 non-refundable retainer to secure my services. All case work is billed at $150.00 per hour. Deposition, mediation, and/or trial time is billed at $300.00 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum, whether I testify or not.

Travel time, from port to port, is billed at $50.00 per hour. Mileage is billed at $.58/mile.

Other expenses are billed for actual costs incurred with verifiable documentation.

Once my detailed bill is received by the attorney who has retained my services, payment in full is due within 10 business days.
